Refund Policy

Responsibility is on the Buyer to make contact through eBay within 48 hours of receiving the item with any issues or request for refund. Refund requests for reasons of “wrong part” or “not wanted” must be made within our 7 days return period. These types of returns are not covered under WARRANTY and therefore the 90-day warranty period does not apply. The buyer assumes all responsibility for return shipping.

Prior to refund approval, all items returned are inspected for installation damage. If damage from installation is found, no refund will be given. If an item is returned with missing parts or with damage no refund will be given.

WARRANTY / GUARANTEE

Terms of 90 Day Warranty:

Most parts we sell through eBay Motors come with a 90-day money back guarantee unless otherwise stated. The 90-day period starts when you take possession of the part. We guarantee our parts to be in good working order and this warranty applies to parts that arrive defective/damaged or become defective within the 90-day warranty period. No labor warranty is provided. In the event a part sold fails to operate within the warranty period and a valid warranty claim is accepted, we will refund the total order price.

Please NOTE:

Items attached to parts that are considered convenience items (wiring, bulbs, sockets, sensors, coils, distributor caps, spark plugs, water pump, filters, brake parts, backing plates, hoses, vacuum lines, u-joints, timing belt/components, etc.) are not guaranteed to come with the part. Said convenience items are not covered under the 90-day warranty. Lack of these convenience items does not warrant a return.

Warranty does NOT cover labor, diagnostics, towing costs, rental car, or any other expenses related to an item being defective/damaged.

What is covered:

Warranty is limited to defects in the specific part referenced in the listing. Additional convenience items are NOT covered under warranty. Convenience items include but are not limited to wiring, bulbs, sockets, sensors, coils, distributor caps, spark plugs, water pump, filters, brake parts, backing plates, hoses, vacuum lines, u-joints, timing belt/components, etc.

What is NOT covered:

Any part broken upon installation is not covered by the 90-day warranty. For example, when installing a transmission, the torque converter needs to be seated properly on the input shaft. If it is not seated properly and it is bolted to the engine, it will result in a broken fluid pump. If this damage is found upon return, no refund will be given. Also, transmission needs to filled with fresh manufacturer specified fluid before driving the car.

Engine purchased from us needs to be filled with fresh manufactured specified fluids before its started for the first time after install. Proper coolant bleeding procedures needs to be followed before driving the vehicle. Failed to follow the proper procedures or overheating the engine will VOID warranty. Engines as pictured may come with alternator, AC Compressor, power steering pump, valve cover gaskets, rear main seal, serpentine belt, oil pan gasket, hoses, spark plugs, wires, coil packs, distributor, connectors, sensors are considered convenience items and not covered under warranty. Following items are covered under warranty head gaskets, pistons, connecting rods, heads, blocks, crankshaft, crank bearings, valves, lifters, camshaft.

Any alterations to any part before resolving any issues VOIDS the return policy and no return or refund will be granted. This is not only our policy but also a policy set by eBay in the user agreement for both buyers and sellers.

Warranty does NOT cover labor, diagnostics, towing costs, rental car, or any other expenses related to an item being defective/damaged.

Core Warranty Terms:

Full warranty not available for items listed as CORE. Items listed as CORE are only guaranteed as rebuildable. Proof of a crack or damage must be provided to prove the CORE is not rebuildable.

Core short/long blocks: Block and heads are guaranteed to be rebuildable but any bolt on items such but not limited to sensors, valve covers, or timing covers are not covered under the warranty.

Examples:

Covered under warranty: An engine block is found to be cracked and NOT rebuildable would be covered under the 90-day warranty.

Not covered under warranty: An engine block is found to be rebuildable but the internal parts are not in working order is NOT covered under the warranty.
